Snow snow snow!!!

I have to admit I really don't mind the snow, I wish we had spells like this every winter, maybe that's just me being a big kid. I am not the only one though, my 11 year old terrier 'May' thinks she's a pup again judging by today's antics!

On a serious note, the birds really do find this weather a challenge and keeping the garden feeders stocked up and drinking water defrosted is a must. I counted 17 Blackbirds around the bird table at once today and we've had a few birds that don't normally visit such as Mistle Thrush, Redwing, Pied Wagtail and Bullfinch.

It will all be back to normal in a couple of days I am sure, but its nice to have a change (and a couple of days off lectures!!).
