I have been interested in wildlife, especially birds, from a young age. I was born in 1983 in Buckinghamshire and lived there until moving to the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire in April 2007, where I am currently studying for a Wildlife Management degree. Conservation is very important to me and I intend to do my bit for British wildlife as soon as I am qualified.
I took my interest in wildlife to a new level when I bought my first digital SLR camera in 2006. I have seen some amazing sights since then, some of which I have managed to photograph. Photography has taken up most of my spare time since moving to the Forest of Dean, a stunning location where photo opportunities are all around, although wildlife photography requires lots of patience, preparation and often a lot of luck. I take great care when photographing subjects and keep disturbance to a minimum, that way I ensure subjects are not stressed by my presence and I get to see a wide range of natural behaviours. Please have a good look around and visit the site often, as I will be adding to the galleries regularly throughout the year.
I hope you enjoy your visit to this site and find the images of interest. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any comments.
