Welcome to LT images
- A portfolio of wildlife photography by Lewis Thomson.
I grew up in rural Buckinghamshire and have had a passion for British wildlife for as far back as I can remember. I moved to the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire in 2007 and work as Assistant Warden for the RSPB's Gloucestershire reserves.
I have seen some amazing species since moving to the Forest of Dean, many of which I have been fortunate enough to photograph. The forest is a stunning location where photo opportunities of scarce species can be plentiful. Most of my photography is undertaken close to home, but I do have images in my portfolio from Iceland, southwest Ireland and Cornwall. I take great care when photographing subjects and keep disturbance to an absolute minimum, this ensures that the subjects are not stressed by my presence and I get to witness and enjoy a wide range of natural behaviours.
